Who it fits

Key specs explained

Headrest Type: Padded

This chair includes a cushioned headrest rather than a rigid or adjustable plastic support. The padding provides soft contact for your neck and upper head during use. You will feel less strain on your cervical spine when reclining or sitting upright for extended periods. This feature is common in office chairs and higher-end gaming seats, offering comfort that basic floor cushions lack. It helps maintain proper posture by supporting the natural curve of your neck while you play or read.

Seat Cushion Type: Hyperelastic sponge

The seat uses hyperelastic sponge, a material known for high resilience and quick recovery after compression. Unlike standard foam that may flatten over time, this sponge returns to its original shape rapidly. This means you maintain consistent support and comfort throughout long gaming sessions or workdays. It prevents the feeling of sitting on a hard surface. When comparing chairs, look for this term as an indicator of durability and long-term comfort, especially for users who sit for hours daily.

Upholstery Material: Breathable mesh fabric

The outer layer is made from breathable mesh fabric, which allows air to circulate through the seat and backrest. This design helps dissipate body heat and reduces sweating during intense gaming or warm weather use. It is generally more comfortable than solid leather or synthetic vinyl for long durations. This material choice is typical in modern office and gaming chairs aimed at thermal regulation. It ensures you stay cooler and more comfortable, making it a practical choice for users who prioritize airflow.

Weight: 17 pounds

The chair weighs 17 pounds, making it relatively lightweight for a structured seat. This low weight allows you to move it easily between rooms or reposition it frequently without effort. It is also easier to handle during storage or folding, as described in the product features. While heavier chairs often feel more robust, this weight suggests a design focused on portability and space-saving. You can lift and carry it with one hand if needed, which is useful for small apartments or multi-use spaces.

Design and Build Analysis

The listing describes a compact, floor-level design that prioritizes space efficiency. The chair measures 22.2 inches wide and 22.6 inches long, with a total height of 30.5 inches. This low profile suggests it is intended for use on the floor rather than with a desk. The unit weighs 17 pounds, making it light enough to move between rooms or store away when not in use.

Materials focus on breathability and softness. The upholstery uses breathable mesh fabric, which helps reduce heat buildup during long sessions. The seat cushion is filled with hyperelastic sponge, providing a soft feel that adapts to your body shape. A padded headrest supports your neck, while the backrest and handrails are also padded for comfort. These choices create a relaxed, lounging experience rather than a rigid, upright posture.

The base features a round chassis that allows for 360-degree swivel movement. According to the listing, this rotation is smooth and silent, letting you reach items without standing up. A removable base cover protects your floor from scratches. The chair folds for storage, fitting into corners to save space. This layout suits gaming, reading, or napping in small areas like bedrooms or living rooms.

Setup and Everyday Use Guide

You do not need to assemble this ACIPENSER Swivel Gaming Chair. The listing states it arrives already assembled, allowing you to use it directly after removing it from the package. This immediate readiness simplifies the initial setup process significantly. You can place the 17-pound unit in your desired location without waiting for construction or tool usage. The chair’s dimensions of 22.2 inches wide and 22.6 inches long allow it to fit into compact corners, while its 30.5-inch height suits floor-level seating arrangements. Daily operation relies on its 360-degree rotating base. The round chassis enables silent, free rotation, letting you reach items at any angle without standing up. A removable, washable base cover protects your floor from scratches during movement. The chair offers six adjustable positions ranging from 90 to 135 degrees. You can shift between these angles for gaming, watching videos, reading, or napping. The ergonomic design supports your neck, spine, and hips through its padded headrest and thick cushion. The breathable mesh fabric and hyperelastic sponge provide soft contact, aiming to reduce strain during long periods of sitting. When not in use, the chair folds into a compact size for easy storage. This feature allows you to save space by tucking it away in any corner. The design is suitable for various rooms, including living rooms, bedrooms, and gaming areas. You can use it for work or meditation. The simple, modern aesthetic blends with home decor, making it a practical choice for multipurpose environments. Its foldable nature ensures it remains unobtrusive when idle.

Before You Buy Considerations

You should verify your floor type before purchasing. The listing mentions a base cover to prevent scratching, but hard surfaces like tile or polished wood may still require caution. This chair sits low to the ground, so ensure you are comfortable rising from a seated position without assistance. Since it is designed for compact spaces, measure your room to confirm it fits alongside desks or beds without blocking pathways. The breathable mesh fabric suggests it is suitable for warmer environments, but you may want a small rug underneath to enhance stability and protect your flooring further. This model serves as a specialized option for relaxation rather than primary office work. If you need high back support for long coding sessions, consider a standard office chair instead. This ACIPENSER chair complements those setups as a secondary seat for napping or media consumption. Keep the washable cover clean to maintain hygiene. Check that the 135-degree recline angle does not conflict with walls or furniture behind your intended placement area.

Check before you buy

• Measure floor space to ensure the 22.6-inch length fits comfortably.
• Confirm your flooring type to avoid potential scratches from the base.
• Check if you can easily stand up from a low seat.
• Verify wall clearance for the 135-degree recline function.
