How each alternative compares
CALIVIA Massage Gaming Recliner with Footrest
The CALIVIA Massage Gaming Recliner includes a footrest and built-in massage functions, features the DXRacer Gladiator L lacks entirely. Its seat width is 22.8 inches, narrower than the Gladiator’s 27.6-inch base, which may feel tighter for wider users. The CALIVIA chair weighs 56 pounds, making it heavier and less mobile than the 50-pound Gladiator. You gain relaxation features like massage and leg support but lose the Gladiator’s wider seating area and 3D armrest adjustability. This chair suits users who prioritize comfort accessories and massage over maximum seat width and precise arm positioning.
GTPLAYER Reclining Gaming Chair with Footrest
The GTPLAYER Reclining Gaming Chair with Footrest offers a reclining mechanism and a footrest, adding leg support the Gladiator does not provide. However, its seat width is only 22 inches, significantly narrower than the Gladiator’s 27.6-inch wide base. The GTPLAYER chair weighs 42 pounds, lighter than the Gladiator’s 50 pounds, making it easier to move. You gain a footrest and lower weight but sacrifice the Gladiator’s wider seating surface and 3D armrests. This option fits users who want a recliner with a footrest and do not need the extra width or advanced armrest adjustments of the Gladiator.
GTPLAYER Faux Leather Gaming Chair with Footrest
The GTPLAYER Faux Leather Gaming Chair with Footrest features a detachable footrest, a feature absent in the DXRacer Gladiator L. Its seat width is 20.9 inches, narrower than the Gladiator’s 27.6-inch base. This model weighs 40.6 pounds, lighter than the Gladiator’s 50 pounds. You gain a separate leg rest and reduced weight but lose the Gladiator’s wider seat and 3D armrest adjustability. The GTPLAYER chair also lacks a reclining backrest in its standard configuration compared to the Gladiator’s 90 to 135-degree recline. This chair suits users who prefer a detachable footrest and a lighter frame over wide seating.
SIHOO High Back Mesh Ergonomic Chair
The SIHOO High Back Mesh Ergonomic Chair uses a mesh back for breathability, unlike the faux leather upholstery of the DXRacer Gladiator L. Its width is 11 inches, which refers to the backrest width, not the seat width, making it much narrower than the Gladiator’s 27.6-inch seat. The SIHOO chair weighs 44.1 pounds, lighter than the Gladiator. You gain airflow and a mesh back but lose the plush faux leather, wide seat, and 3D armrests of the Gladiator. This chair is better for users who prioritize ventilation and a slim profile over the wide, cushioned comfort of the Gladiator.
Marsail Ergonomic Mesh Gaming Chair
The Marsail Ergonomic Mesh Gaming Chair features a breathable mesh backrest, contrasting with the DXRacer Gladiator L’s faux leather. Its seat width is 19.7 inches, narrower than the Gladiator’s 27.6-inch base. The Marsail chair weighs 34.8 pounds, significantly lighter than the Gladiator’s 50 pounds. You gain a mesh back for airflow and a lighter frame but lose the Gladiator’s wide seat, 3D armrests, and reclining backrest. This chair suits users who prefer mesh ventilation and a lighter weight over the wider, more adjustable, and heavier build of the Gladiator.
GTPLAYER Big and Tall Gaming Chair with Footrest
The GTPLAYER Big and Tall Gaming Chair with Footrest includes a footrest and reclining backrest, features the DXRacer Gladiator L lacks. Its seat width is 25.2 inches, slightly narrower than the Gladiator’s 27.6-inch base. The GTPLAYER chair weighs 39 pounds, lighter than the Gladiator’s 50 pounds. You gain a footrest and a design labeled for bigger users but lose the Gladiator’s wider seat and 3D armrest adjustability. This chair fits users who need a recliner with a footrest and do not require the extra width or precise arm positioning of the Gladiator.
