6 Best Alternatives to the GTPLAYER Criss Cross Chair Flip-Up (2026)

How alternatives compare to GTPLAYER

CALIVIA Massage Gaming Recliner Chair

The CALIVIA Massage Gaming Recliner Chair adds built-in massage functionality to its reclining frame, a feature the GTPLAYER model lacks entirely. While the GTPLAYER uses flip-up arms to create a wide 48.9-inch lounge surface, the CALIVIA maintains a standard armrest configuration but offers integrated storage pockets for convenience. It is heavier at 56 pounds compared to the GTPLAYER’s 39 pounds. You should choose this option if you prioritize therapeutic massage and organized storage over the expansive seating width and pet-friendly design of the original chair. It sacrifices the unique cross-legged sitting capability for added relaxation features.

Dowinx Big and Tall Grey Gaming Chair

The Dowinx Big and Tall Grey Gaming Chair provides a wider 35.4-inch seat base than the GTPLAYER’s 32-inch width, offering more lateral space. Unlike the GTPLAYER’s flip-up arms, this model features fixed high-back design with a footrest, prioritizing structural stability over versatility. It weighs 45.5 pounds, making it slightly heavier than the GTPLAYER. This chair is best for users who need a broader seating platform for larger frames but do not require the ability to flip arms for pet resting or cross-legged lounging. It gives up the unique armrest expansion feature for a more traditional, spacious office chair profile.

Dowinx Big and Tall Faux Leather Gaming Chair

The Dowinx Big and Tall Faux Leather Gaming Chair includes both massage and lumbar support features, which the GTPLAYER model does not list. It features a pocket spring seat similar to the GTPLAYER but lacks the 180-degree flip-up armrests. The seat width is narrower at 20.1 inches, making it less suitable for cross-legged sitting or pet lounging. Weighing 44.1 pounds, it is comparable in mass. You should select this alternative if you want massage therapy and pocket spring comfort in a standard configuration. It sacrifices the unique wide-seat versatility of the GTPLAYER for integrated massage and lumbar support in a more compact footprint.

GABRYLLY High-Back Mesh Chair with Headrest

The GABRYLLY High-Back Mesh Chair uses breathable mesh upholstery instead of the GTPLAYER’s faux leather, offering better airflow for hot climates. It also features flip-up armrests, providing similar space-saving flexibility, but maintains a narrower 25.2-inch width. The GABRYLLY model is lighter at 41 pounds and lacks a footrest, which the GTPLAYER includes. It is ideal for users under 6'1" who prefer mesh breathability over plush leather comfort. You should choose this chair if you prioritize ventilation and a lighter frame. It gives up the reclining footrest and wide lounge capacity for a more ergonomic, breathable, and compact design.

Dowinx Big and Tall Pocket Spring Gaming Chair

The Dowinx Big and Tall Pocket Spring Gaming Chair features height-adjustable armrests, whereas the GTPLAYER only offers flip-up functionality. Both chairs utilize pocket spring cushioning for seat comfort. The Dowinx model is narrower at 22.8 inches, making it less suitable for cross-legged sitting or pet lounging compared to the GTPLAYER’s 48.9-inch expanded width. It weighs 45 pounds and includes a footrest and lumbar support. You should pick this option if you need vertical armrest adjustment for precise ergonomic alignment. It sacrifices the unique wide-seat expansion feature for adjustable armrest height and a more traditional ergonomic setup.

CAPOT Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair

The CAPOT Ergonomic Mesh Office Chair combines flip-up armrests with a breathable mesh back, offering a hybrid of the GTPLAYER’s space-saving arms and superior ventilation. It has a standard 27.2-inch width, narrower than the GTPLAYER’s expanded 48.9 inches. The CAPOT model is lighter at 38 pounds and lacks a footrest and reclining function. It is best for heavy users who need sturdy support and flip-up arms but prefer mesh over leather. You should choose this alternative if you want the versatility of flip-up arms without the bulk of a recliner. It gives up the lounge width and footrest for a lighter, more breathable ergonomic design.
