Who it fits
Good fit for
You should consider this chair if you play games in a dimly lit room and want immersive audio without external headphones. The oversized width and wide side wings suit larger frames or those who prefer extra shoulder room. The Bluetooth speakers and RGB lighting appeal to users who enjoy visual customization. The footrest and recline function make it suitable for short naps or extended study sessions. It fits well in home offices where multimedia features are valued.
Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you need precise seat height adjustment beyond the listed options, as the data only specifies height variations of 9.45 inches and 18.5 inches without detailing a standard gas lift range. If you prefer a minimalist aesthetic, the prominent RGB lights and speaker grilles may not suit your decor. Those needing 4D armrests for independent height, width, depth, and angle adjustments will find only linkage armrests here. Users who do not use Bluetooth audio may find the built-in speakers unnecessary.
Verdict: This chair suits users who want built-in audio and lighting in an oversized frame. It offers solid comfort features for gaming and office use.
Key specs explained for this chair
Size: Oversized
This category means the seat base and backrest are wider and larger than standard office chairs. You get more surface area to sit on, which reduces pressure points on your hips and thighs. If you have a larger body type or simply prefer extra room to shift positions, this fit works well. Standard chairs often feel cramped for users over 200 pounds, so this spec helps you avoid that tightness.
Bluetooth: 5.1 speakers
The chair includes dual speakers connected via Bluetooth 5.1, a version that offers stable connections and lower power usage. You do not need extra cables to play audio from your phone or laptop. This feature turns your seating into a personal sound system. It is ideal for gamers who want immersive audio without wearing headphones for long sessions. Check that your device supports Bluetooth to use this function effectively.
Recline: 135 degrees
This chair tilts back up to 135 degrees, which is steeper than the typical 120-degree limit found in many office chairs. This steep angle allows you to lie almost flat for naps or relaxation. You can pair this with the retractable footrest for full recline comfort. If you take frequent breaks during work or gaming, this range gives you a proper resting position that standard upright chairs cannot provide.
Armrests: Linkage
Linkage armrests move in sync with the backrest when you recline. As you tilt back, the armrests move backward and up, keeping your arms supported in the same relative position. This prevents your elbows from hanging in empty space or straining your shoulders. You do not need to adjust the armrests manually every time you change the chair angle. This feature maintains ergonomic support during long periods of reclining.
Headrest: Flexible
A flexible headrest typically uses a padded cushion that can be moved up or down the backrest. This allows you to position it to support your neck at your specific height. Unlike fixed headrests, you can adjust it to match your spine curve. This customization helps reduce neck strain during long gaming or work sessions. Ensure the adjustment mechanism is sturdy so the headrest stays in place while you move.
Design and build details
The GTPLAYER GTP800-RT is an oversized high-back chair. According to the listing, the seat base measures 33 inches in length, 22.8 inches in width, and 9.45 inches in height. This large footprint provides ample surface area for adults. The structure supports a recline angle of up to 135 degrees. You can also extend a padded footrest from the base for added comfort during long sessions.
The backrest features a curved ergonomic design with flexible headrest and lumbar pillows. Linkage armrests move in sync with the recline function, keeping your arms supported as you lean back. The side wings are 15% wider than standard models, ensuring your shoulder movement remains unrestricted. This layout suits both gaming and office environments where extended sitting is common.
Finish and controls are integrated into the frame. The listing notes dual Bluetooth 5.1 speakers built into the headrest area for audio playback. Customizable RGB lighting runs along the chair, controlled via a USB-connected remote. This allows you to adjust brightness and modes without leaving your seat. The chair includes multi-directional racing wheels for smooth 360-degree rotation. The overall build prioritizes immersive entertainment and ergonomic support in a single, large unit.
Setup and daily use
Setup involves assembling the chair components using the included guide. You will attach the base, seat, and backrest, then secure the armrests and headrest. The listing notes that GTPLAYER provides a strong after-sales team to assist if you have questions during installation. You can contact them within twenty-four hours for support.
Once assembled, daily use centers on the chair’s multimedia features. The dual Bluetooth 5.1 speakers connect wirelessly to your devices. You can use the companion app to adjust audio settings. The chair also includes a USB-connected remote control. This remote lets you customize RGB lighting modes and adjust brightness levels. You can change the lighting to match your gaming or office environment.
For comfort, the chair offers a reclining function up to one hundred thirty-five degrees. You can pull out the retractable padded footrest when you recline. The linkage armrests move with the backrest, maintaining support as you tilt. The flexible headrest and lumbar pillow provide targeted support for your neck and lower back. The one hundred fifty percent wider side wings allow freedom for shoulder movement.
The chair is suitable for both gaming and office work. The high-back design supports your spine. You can use the Bluetooth speakers for music or calls while working. The footrest allows for brief rest periods during long sessions. The oversized seat base accommodates larger body types comfortably. The chair rotates three hundred sixty degrees for easy access to your desk or gaming setup.
Before you buy this chair
This chair is a statement piece, not just furniture. You will need a power source for the RGB lighting and Bluetooth speakers. The listing mentions a USB connection for the remote, so ensure you have an available port. Check your device compatibility for the dedicated app that controls the audio modes. Cleaning requires care for the fabric and plastic components. Dust the LED strips gently to maintain brightness. The oversized frame demands more floor space than standard chairs. If your room is tight, measure carefully before placing it. This model suits those who want entertainment integration. It fits well with other gaming setups but may overwhelm a minimalist office. Compare its bulk against smaller options if space is limited. The footrest adds comfort but extends the chair’s length when reclined. Plan your layout to accommodate the full recline angle of 135 degrees without obstruction.
