Who it fits
Good fit for
This chair suits big and tall users who need extra width. The 27.6-inch seat width accommodates larger frames comfortably. If you work long hours at a desk, the adjustable lumbar support helps maintain posture. The breathable leather keeps you cool during extended sessions. The rubber wheels are ideal for homes with hardwood or laminate floors. It is also a good fit for gamers who need stable, high-back support.
Who should skip it
You should skip this option if you prefer a slim, compact chair. The large size and wide seat may not fit small desks. If you need fabric upholstery, this model uses leather. The standard version lacks 3D armrests, though a variation exists. Users wanting a reclining feature must choose the specific reclining-black option. Those who prefer plastic casters over rubber wheels should look elsewhere.

Key specs explained for you
Size: Large (L)
This chair is classified as Large. You get a spacious seat that accommodates broader bodies comfortably. It is ideal if you find standard office chairs too narrow or restrictive. The extra room allows you to shift positions without feeling confined. If you have a larger frame, this size ensures you do not feel cramped during long work sessions or gaming marathons.
Width: 27.6 inches
The seat width measures 27.6 inches. This dimension provides substantial side-to-side space for your hips and thighs. You benefit from reduced pressure on your legs and better circulation. Many standard chairs offer only 20 inches. This wider base supports heavier users by distributing weight more evenly across the cushion, enhancing overall comfort and stability while seated.
Height: 51 inches
The total height of the chair is 51 inches. This tall profile supports a high backrest, which covers more of your spine. You get better upper back support compared to low-back models. The height also allows for a larger seat depth. This design helps maintain proper posture by keeping your shoulders and head aligned, reducing strain during extended periods at your desk.
Back Style: High Back
This model features a high back style. You receive continuous support from your lower back up to your shoulders. This design helps prevent slouching and reduces muscle fatigue. Standard chairs often stop at the mid-back. The high back ensures your entire spine is supported, making it a practical choice for users who need full ergonomic coverage and stability during long hours of work or play.
Design and Build Quality
The Indulgear BOCNEW features a high-back design upholstered in breathable leather. According to the listing, this material offers better heat dissipation than bonded leather, helping to keep you cool during long sessions. The seat includes a gel cushion and double-layer sponge padding. This construction aims to provide firm support while maintaining comfort for heavy users. The wide backrest is designed to wrap around your body, reducing pressure points.
Stability comes from a heavy-duty metal base and a four-level gas lift. The chair uses rubber wheels with a polyurethane outer layer. These wheels are intended to glide smoothly without marking hardwood, laminate, tile, or vinyl floors. The listing states that this setup eliminates worries about gradual sinking, ensuring the chair remains level and secure over time. The overall frame is built to withstand significant weight.
Assembly is listed as taking approximately 20 minutes with detailed instructions provided. You can choose from several color options, including classic black, fabric, and reclining variants. The specific model reviewed is the Classic Black with Gel Seat Cushion in Large size. This configuration suits users who need a robust, spacious seat for extended work or gaming periods. The durable materials and wide footprint make it a practical choice for those prioritizing longevity and comfort over minimalist aesthetics.
Setup and Daily Use Guide
Setting up this Indulgear BOCNEW chair takes approximately twenty minutes. The package includes detailed instructions to help you assemble the components. You will attach the high-back seat to the heavy-duty metal base and install the four-level gas lift mechanism. The process is straightforward and does not require specialized tools. Once assembled, the chair offers a stable foundation for daily tasks.
For everyday use, the chair is designed to support heavy users. The wide seat, measuring 27.6 inches in width and 28.7 inches in length, provides ample space. You can shift positions comfortably without feeling restricted. The breathable leather upholstery helps manage heat, which is useful during long work or gaming sessions. The double-layer sponge cushion and gel seat insert provide consistent support. You can adjust the lumbar support to fit your lower back, reducing strain during extended periods of sitting.
Movement is handled by rubber wheels with a polyurethane outer layer. These wheels glide smoothly and quietly across various floor types, including hardwood, laminate, tile, and vinyl. They are designed to prevent scratches and marks on your flooring. The high-back design wraps around your body, offering additional stability. The heavy-duty metal base ensures the chair remains secure, even when you lean back or adjust your position. This setup allows you to focus on your work or game without worrying about chair stability or floor damage.
Before You Buy This Chair
You should verify your floor type before purchasing. This model includes rubber wheels that are safe for hardwood, laminate, tile, and vinyl surfaces. They glide smoothly without leaving marks. Check your available space carefully. The chair measures 27.6 inches in width and 28.7 inches in length. Ensure your desk or workstation can accommodate these dimensions comfortably. You may need a larger desk mat to protect your floor further, although the rubber wheels are designed to be gentle. Maintenance is straightforward. Wipe the breathable leather upholstery with a damp cloth to remove dust and spills. This helps preserve the material’s appearance and heat dissipation properties over time. Compare this option against other big and tall chairs in our 1 product list. If you prioritize a wide seat and adjustable lumbar support, this BOCNEW model is a strong contender. However, if you need armrest adjustments or reclining features, check the variations list. Some options include dual wheels or fabric upholstery.
