Both chairs use bonded leather and feature high backs with padded arms and lumbar support. The Serta model is designed for users who need 350 lb support. You give up the diamond-quilted aesthetic of the La-Z-Boy for a more standard executive look. This option is best for big and tall users who prioritize seat width and weight capacity over the plush, traditional style of the original. It fits those who want supportive foam cushioning in a wider package.
