Who it fits
Good fit for
This chair suits taller users or those who prefer a wider seat, given its oversized dimensions. The five-level lumbar support is ideal for individuals who experience lower back strain during long hours at a desk. You will appreciate the flip-up arms if you need to slide under desks or prefer unobstructed arm movement. The leather upholstery offers breathability, making it a good choice for those who prioritize a soft, premium texture over mesh ventilation. It fits well in home offices where style and adjustable comfort are priorities.
Who should skip it
If you require a chair with a mesh back for maximum airflow, this leather model may not suit your needs. The data does not mention headrest adjustability, so those who need precise neck support might find the high-back design insufficient. Users who prefer a lighter chair will notice the 40.8-pound weight, which indicates a sturdy but less portable build. Additionally, if you need armrests that move up, down, forward, or backward, the flip-up only mechanism offers limited lateral adjustment. This chair is best for static positioning rather than dynamic micro-adjustments.
Verdict: The Nouhaus Click5 offers robust support for larger frames through its oversized design and adjustable lumbar system. It is a solid choice for users who value leather comfort and flexible armrest configurations.
Key specs explained for this chair
Size: Oversized
This designation indicates a frame and seat built for larger body types. You get extra width and depth compared to standard office chairs. If you find typical chairs too narrow or short, this model offers more room. It accommodates wider hips and longer legs comfortably. Check the seat dimensions to ensure it fits your space and body size before buying.
Lumbar Support: 5-level adjustable
You can change the lower back support in five distinct steps. This lets you match the curve of your spine precisely. If you sit for long hours, you can find the spot that relieves pressure on your lower back. It is better than fixed support because it adapts to your height and sitting posture. Adjust it until you feel even weight distribution.
Upholstery Material: Leather
The seat and back are covered in leather material. This surface is generally easier to wipe clean than fabric. It offers a smooth texture that feels soft against your clothes. Leather can feel warmer than mesh but often looks more professional in an office. You should clean spills quickly to maintain the finish. It provides a durable surface for daily use.
Armrest Adjustability: Flip-up
The armrests lift vertically instead of sliding up and down. This feature allows you to tuck them under a desk completely. You can sit closer to your workspace without arms blocking you. It also makes sliding in and out of the chair easier. Use them when you need arm support, or flip them up to create more leg room.
Safety Certifications: BIFMA
This chair meets specific standards set by the Business and Institutional Furniture Manufacturers Association. It verifies that the materials and construction are safe and durable. You can trust that the base and gas lift will hold up under normal use. This certification is a key benchmark for office chairs. It ensures the chair does not have obvious structural flaws or safety risks.
