Who it fits

Key specs explained for this chair

Size: Oversized

This designation indicates the chair is built for larger body types or those who prefer extra room. You get a wider seat and broader frame than standard office chairs. If you find typical chairs too narrow or restrictive, this model accommodates your frame more comfortably. It ensures you do not feel cramped during long work sessions, providing a stable base for your body.

Weight: 40.8 pounds

This weight suggests a substantial build quality that resists tipping or wobbling during use. A heavier chair often implies denser materials and a more robust internal mechanism. You benefit from a stable platform that does not shift unexpectedly. When comparing chairs, this weight signals durability and a solid feel, distinguishing it from lighter, more flimsy alternatives found in the market.

Height: 43.3 inches

This overall height determines how the chair fits in your workspace. It ensures the backrest clears your shoulders while allowing your feet to rest flat on the floor when adjusted properly. You can verify that your desk height accommodates this range. This dimension helps you maintain proper posture by aligning your elbows with the desk surface without strain on your neck or shoulders.

Width: 26.8 inches

This width defines the seat area available for your hips and thighs. A width near twenty-seven inches offers ample space for most adults, preventing edge pressure on your legs. You can shift positions without feeling confined. When shopping, compare this to narrower seats that might cause discomfort. This dimension supports proper circulation and comfort during extended periods of sitting.

Material: Microfiber Leather

This upholstery combines the look of leather with the breathability of fabric. You get a soft surface that is easier to clean than cloth but cooler than synthetic leather. It resists wear while maintaining a premium texture. This material choice suits those who want a sleek office aesthetic without the stickiness or heat retention often associated with traditional vinyl or PU leather covers.

Design and Build Quality

According to the listing, the Nouhaus Click5 uses premium microfiber leather for its upholstery. This material is described as having great breathability and softness. You get optimal leather texture without the stiffness of traditional vinyl. The chair is available in Taupe or White. These color options let you match your existing office decor. The high back style covers the upper spine. This design supports natural curvature during long work sessions. The oversized size category means the frame is wider than standard models. You have extra room for larger body types or those who prefer a spacious seat. The width is 26.8 inches and the length is 27.6 inches. These dimensions define the footprint on your floor. The height reaches 43.3 inches when fully extended. This allows you to adjust the seat level to fit your desk. The total weight is 40.8 pounds. This mass suggests a sturdy base that resists tipping. The flip-up armrests save space when you need to slide under a table. You can choose to use them or remove them for armless sitting. The 135-degree recline function lets you shift angles for comfort. The listing notes it is certified by BIFMA for safety and durability. This certification indicates the build meets specific industry standards for office furniture. Assembly takes about 20 minutes with the included tools. You get a complete package for quick setup.

Setup and Everyday Use Details

Setting up the Nouhaus Click5 is designed to be straightforward. The listing includes all necessary tools and detailed instructions. You can expect to assemble the chair in approximately 20 minutes. This timeframe is based on the manufacturer’s guidance for putting together the frame, attaching the backrest, and securing the base. No specialized skills are required for this process.

Once assembled, the chair offers extensive adjustability to fit your workspace. You can change the seat height to match your desk. The 360-degree swivel seat allows you to turn easily without standing up. The tilt function lets you recline the backrest up to 135 degrees. This range supports various postures, from upright work to relaxed breaks. The armrests are flip-up, which helps you save space when you need to slide the chair fully under a desk. They also allow for an armless configuration if preferred.

Daily use focuses on comfort and support. The high backrest and contoured cushion are shaped to follow the natural curve of your spine. Five-level adjustable lumbar support helps redistribute weight away from your hips and lower back. This feature is intended to reduce strain during long sitting sessions. The microfiber leather upholstery provides a soft surface that breathes well. The oversized size ensures ample room for larger body types. The BIFMA certification indicates the chair meets specific safety and durability standards. You get reliable performance for everyday office tasks.

Before you buy this chair

You should verify your desk depth before purchasing. The seat length is 27.6 inches, which may overhang standard desks. Ensure your workspace accommodates this width of 26.8 inches. The chair requires a standard five-star base footprint, so check your floor type. You will need to clean the microfiber leather regularly to maintain its texture. Use a soft, damp cloth for routine dusting. Avoid harsh chemicals that might damage the upholstery. This model sits among 1 options in our guide. It suits those who prioritize lumbar support and adjustable armrests. If you need a compact chair for small rooms, look elsewhere. The oversized design demands more floor space. You should also confirm that your ceiling height allows for the 43.3-inch maximum height. This chair is best for users who sit for long periods and need extensive adjustability. It is not ideal for tight corners or minimal setups.

Check before you buy

• Check desk depth for the 27.6-inch seat length
• Ensure floor space fits the 26.8-inch width
• Verify ceiling height for the 43.3-inch max height
• Confirm floor type supports the base footprint
