Who it fits
Good fit for
This chair suits console gamers who spend long hours in a living room or bedroom setup. It is ideal for players who prefer lounging over sitting at a desk. The continuous footrest is great for stretching out during breaks. If you need a sturdy, stationary seat that holds up to 275 pounds, this model fits your needs. It also works well for streaming or watching movies, thanks to the plush padding and reclining feature.
Who should skip it
You should look elsewhere if you need a chair for a traditional office desk. This model lacks casters, so you cannot roll it around. It is not designed for high-intensity competitive gaming that requires quick, precise movements. If you prefer a slim profile for tight spaces, note that the width is 30.7 inches. It is also not suitable for users who need lumbar adjustment mechanisms, as it relies on fixed padding for support.
Verdict: The Respawn 900 is a solid choice for relaxed console gaming and lounging. It offers good value for those who prioritize comfort and stability over mobility.
Key specs explained
Weight Capacity: 275 lbs
This limit defines the maximum safe load for the chair. You must stay under this number to ensure the mechanism functions correctly and the frame does not fail. This capacity suits most adults. If you exceed it, the recline action may become stiff or unsafe. Compare this figure with other heavy-duty gaming chairs to find a match for your body size and safety needs.
Dimensions: 35.04" - 51.18" D x 30.71" W x 37.01" - 44.88" H
These measurements show the physical footprint of the chair. The depth changes significantly when you recline, extending the seat area. The width determines how much floor space it occupies. The height range accounts for the reclining position. Check these numbers against your room layout to ensure it fits comfortably. This data helps you plan your gaming or relaxation zone accurately.
Weight: 48.5 pounds
This figure indicates the total mass of the unit. A weight near fifty pounds suggests a sturdy, stable construction that will not tip easily during vigorous use. It also implies the chair is heavy to move. You will likely need two people for setup or relocation. This mass contributes to the stability of the pedestal base compared to lighter, wheeled alternatives.
Features: Footrest, Reclining
These features define the chair's primary functions. The footrest extends from the base to support your legs, changing the chair from a seating position to a lounging one. The reclining capability allows you to adjust the back angle for comfort. Together, they create a relaxation zone distinct from a standard office setup. This combination is ideal for long gaming sessions or movie watching.

The seat and footrest are continuous, which prevents wire snags during use. You can choose from several color options, including blue, black, grey, white, red, and fabric variations. The listing notes a five-year limited warranty, indicating the manufacturer's confidence in the build quality.
Dimensions are listed as 30.7 inches wide and 44.9 inches high. The depth adjusts from 35.04 to 51.18 inches depending on the recline angle. The chair weighs 48.5 pounds. This substantial weight helps keep the unit stable when you recline or swivel. The 275-pound weight capacity supports most adults. You should stay under this limit to ensure the mechanism functions correctly and the frame does not fail.

The 135-degree recline and 360-degree swivel offer flexible positioning. According to the listing, the chair is designed for console gaming and relaxed play. The racing-style aesthetic fits into bedrooms or game rooms. The continuous footrest allows you to extend your legs comfortably while maintaining a solid base.
