Who it fits
Good fit for
This chair suits renters, students, or anyone with limited space. The small size fits well in dorm rooms, small apartments, or tight corners. You will appreciate the portability if you move your seating often. The low height and floor-based design make it easy to slide under desks or beside beds. It is ideal for casual use, such as watching TV or reading, rather than long, intensive gaming marathons. If you need a secondary seat that does not take up much floor area, this option works well.
Who should skip it
Skip this if you need a traditional office chair with height adjustment. The fixed 28-inch height cannot be raised or lowered. You will miss out on lumbar support and adjustable armrests, which are common in standard gaming chairs. The lightweight build may feel less sturdy for heavier users. If you require a high-back chair for full spine support during long work sessions, this floor rocker is not the right choice. It is a casual seat, not a professional ergonomic workstation.
Verdict: The Crew Furniture Cove Rocker is a portable, space-saving seat for casual lounging. It fits small rooms but lacks the adjustability of a standard office chair.
Key specs for the Cove Rocker
Height: 28 inches
This height places the seat low to the floor. It creates a casual, lounge-style posture rather than a standard desk height. You benefit if you prefer a relaxed vibe for gaming or media consumption. Compare this to office chairs that sit 18 to 20 inches high. The lower profile suits floor-level activities but may feel too short for standard desks.

This compact dimension helps the chair fit into tight areas like dorm rooms or small apartments. Standard chairs often exceed 20 inches in width.
